Leona Lewis Songs

Leona Louise Lewis was born on 3rd April 1985 and grew to become a British songwriter and singer. She became prominent after winning the X Factor third series in 2006. She has won the Grammy Award three times.
One of her most prosperous single, Bleeding Love, was at position one in more than 30 countries in the world and was emerged the best-seller single in 2008 worldwide. Billboard magazine proclaimed the 'Top New Artist' in 2008. She has produce two top albums, Spirit and Echo in 2007 and 2009 respectively which have sold in excess 10 million copies.

Music Career

She auditioned for The X Factor third series in 2006 where she sang "Over the Rainbow". Her debut single song: A moment like this was released on 20th December. It broke the world record by being downloaded 50,000 times within a span of 30 minutes on December 24th. 'A moment like this' was later crowned 2006 United Kingdom Christmas number-1 single with a sales of 571,253 copies. It topped for 4 weeks and stayed top chart in Irish Singles Charts for good six weeks.
In 2007, Lewis signed a 5 Euro million five- album contract in USA with J Records of Clive Davis's record label.
Spirit
Spirit is Leona Lewis's debut album; it was released by the Syco Music in November 2007 in U K. Lewis began recording this album in December 2006 in Sweden, USA and UK. She worked with a selection of producers and writers. The album release saw Lewis as a major T.V show winner in United Kingdom and U.S.
Spirit contained seven singles such as the main single, "Bleeding Love" which is pop song with R&B undertones set. Bleeding Love which goes for four minutes and twenty two seconds for the album version, moving at 104bpm set in 4/4 time. It is written about a longtime girlfriend saying
He explains of how she kept thinking about love in a big way which it hurts. This is because, he was away from her girlfriend for four months during that time and she really wanted to move out and fly home. "Being in great love hurt me very much. In this duration, it was like bleeding after being cut open."
The song refers to a person deeply in love that he is blinded by love.

Echo

Echo is the second album released in November 2009 through Sony Music. It was preceded by the single "Happy", "I Got You" and "My Hands" which was used as the video game Final Fantasy theme song. Happy is a contradiction song because it is named 'Happy' but it is kind of dark and a bit sad. It talks about people going out on journey and getting happiness since humankind go through severe pain and sadness to achieve a thing.

Glassheart
